There is a Forest of Opportunity at the Clatsop Community College Foundation’s annual Arts &Experiences Auction & Dinner scholarship fundraiser. All are invited to attend the evening event that will be celebrating the opportunities that education brings on Saturday, May 4, in Patriot Hall on the Clatsop Community College Lexington campus in Astoria. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. offering a silent auction and complimentary champagne service before the dinner and main live auction event at 6:30 p.m.
Attendees will be able to bid on auction items in a silent auction as well as a live auction showcasing works of art provided by over 50 local and regional artists, trips to Italy and South Africa, and multiple experience packages. Everyone will also enjoy a fabulous dinner provided by Fulio’s, all while supporting student scholarships and programs.
The evenings theme, Education: A Forest of Opportunity, reflects on what a college education can mean for area students trying to reach their career and personal goals. Susan Bartlett, CCC Foundation chair, said “The goal of the Foundation is to provide scholarships to help students overcome many of the financial obstacles that stand between them their educational goals. With CCC Foundation scholarships to help with tuition, books, fees, and living expenses, we can help them reach their goals.”
Reservations are $85 per person. To make reservations, become a sponsor, or donate items, please visit clatsopcc.edu/foundation, call (503) 338-2306; or email sklever@clatsopcc.edu.
