Truck Driver Training Comes to Astoria

Clatsop Community College is hosting the Tillamook Bay Community College Truck Driving Training Program in Astoria for area residents to have the opportunity to become a CDL Certified Truck Driver. Students in this program can earn a CDL in Astoria in 4 weeks. The next series of classes start January 27th and runs through February 21st. Students must commit to classes Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive the certification. The 4-week training session will consist of 1 week of classroom training and 3 weeks of field training on location.

The approximate fee cost for the compete program is $5000 with partial scholarships available through Tillamook Bay Community College. Application and registration processes for this opportunity are all done through Tillamook Bay Community College.
