Masks Optional at CCC as of March 19th, 2022

The requirement for face coverings while inside college buildings regardless of vaccination status remains in effect through Friday, March 19th While the state mandate is being removed earlier, the college will be keeping the requirement in effect for an additional week in order to align with the end of finals.

We understand that not everyone will be comfortable going without a mask and respect all who wish to continue wearing a face covering. Some individuals in offices on campus may request that you wear face coverings while interacting with them in their work space; signage and masks will be available to accommodate those situations.

Requests for accommodations for students with medical needs related to COVID-19 will be processed through the Student Access Services office. Please contact Student Access Services for information at studentaccess@clatsopcc.edu. Documentation will be required for remote class options of face-to-face classes.

COVID cases will continue to be monitored at CCC, quarantining of individuals who test positive will be required and contact tracing will continue on campus.

OHA now recommends that communities consider local hospitalization and vaccination rates along with area case numbers to determine if masking should be required.  CCC will monitor these rates and numbers and update guidance as necessary throughout Spring Term. Please continue to self-check for symptoms, NOT come to campus if you have symptoms, use the hand sanitizer stations around campus and wash hands regularly. Vaccinations are still encouraged. We must stay diligent in our practices to no spread COVID-19 so we may continue to see these positive steps for our community.  For more information please visit the Oregon Health Authority website.
