Announcement (1/12/24): CCC Board of Education Explores Hiring Process for New President

Following the Executive and Regular Board meeting of Clatsop Community College’s Board of Education on January 11th, in an effort to expedite the search for a president for CCC, the Board of Education subcommittee for the presidential search met Friday, Jan 12th  at 10 a.m. to discuss the start of the search process.  It was determined that the board will meet with Karen Smith, the Executive Director of the Oregon Community College Association on Thursday, January 18th at 9 a.m. to learn about other presidential searches conducted in Oregon and receive guidance for a successful search for the college’s next president.

The subcommittee is made up of board members Ed Johnson, Lloyd Mueller, and Jody Stahancyk. The subcommittee meetings are open to the public and information on meetings can be found on the Board of Education webpage of the Clatsopcc.edu website.
