Announcement (2/2/24): Clatsop Community College’s Board of Education Reopens Application Submissions for Seeking Area Resident to Fill Board Vacancy for Zone 2

The Clatsop Community College Board of Education is seeking applicants to fill a vacant position on the Board for Zone 2.

Applicants should submit their letters of interest by Friday, February 16, 2024 at Noon (12 p.m. PST).

Zone 2 includes the City of Astoria, John Day area, Lewis & Clark area, and Olney-Walluski areas.

Interested persons are asked to submit letters of interest for the position accompanied by resumes of relevant experience. Those applying for zone representation must be a registered voter residing within the zone area and have been a resident within the district for one year immediately preceding the appointment.  Applications must be submitted to the Human Resources Office at Clatsop Community College located at 1651 Lexington Avenue, Astoria, OR 97103 or via email to the Office of the President at fgreen@clatsopcc.edu

The Board is currently accepting applications, will review the applicants, and arrange interviews.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday, February 20 starting at 1 p.m. in Towler Hall 206.
