CCC Faculty Plus Art Show Opens April 11th

The Clatsop Community College Royal Nebeker Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of the 2024 Faculty Plus Show, an exhibit highlighting the diverse artwork created by the CCC Art Faculty plus a selection of invited artists. The show will be on display from Thursday, April 11 through May 9, with a reception on Thursday, April 11 at 6 p.m. The gallery reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.

The featured artwork encompasses a wide range of media representing the various disciplines taught in the art curriculum: drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, and photography. CCC Art faculty participating in the show are Kristin Shauck (design, drawing, painting, and art history), Brad Menninga (ceramics), Ben Rosenberg (printmaking), David Homer (photography and graphic design) and Richard Rowland (recently retired/ceramics). The exhibit also includes the following practicing artists: Elise Wagner (encaustic painter and 2024 Annual CCC Art Student Show Juror), Ryan Prochaska (CCC Historic Preservation Instructor and painter/sculptor/builder), P.J. Hollern (sculptor and ceramicist). Jeremy Furnish (sculptor and current AVA Artist-in-Residence), Heather Goguen (mixed-media artist), Nicole Stiver (painter), and Tyler Bennink (photographer).

The CCC Royal Nebeker Gallery is dedicated to enriching the cultural life of the campus, the local community, and the North Coast region. Please join us in sustaining and promoting contemporary art and visual culture through professional exhibitions and programming.

The CCC Royal Nebeker Gallery, located at 1799 Lexington Avenue in Astoria, is ADA accessible. The gallery hours are from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and on weekends and holidays by appointment only.
