Clatsop Community College announces the 2025 Faculty Plus Show, an exhibition showcasing the diverse artwork of CCC Art Faculty alongside a selection of invited artists in the Royal Nebeker Gallery. The exhibition will be on display from April 10 through May 2, with a public reception on Thursday, April 17, at 6 p.m. Both the reception and the exhibition are free and open to the public.
Showcasing a wide range of media, the exhibit highlights the disciplines taught in the CCC Art Department, including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, and photography.
Featured CCC Art Faculty:
- Ben Rosenberg (printmaking)
- David Homer (photography and graphic design)
- Kristin Shauck (design, drawing, painting, and art history)
- Brad Menninga (ceramics)
- Richard Rowland (recently retired, ceramics)
As part of this year’s exhibition, the gallery is honored to include a significant new addition to the CCC Permanent Collection: Lørdag Kveld, a large-scale painting by Royal Nebeker. In addition to being one of the Pacific Northwest’s most celebrated contemporary painters, Nebeker was a beloved faculty member in the CCC Art Department for three decades. The inclusion of this recently donated work pays tribute to his legacy as both an influential educator and the namesake of the gallery that continues to celebrate the artistic spirit he so deeply embodied.
The exhibition also includes works by invited artists, including Portland-based ceramicist Natalie Warrens and CCC Biology Instructor and photographer Nicole Warwick. The show will also include paper and light sculptor Lâm Quảng, who is also serving as the 2025 Annual CCC Art Student Show juror. Working together with local artists Richard Rowland, Bill Atwood, Jeremy Furnish, Pippa Arend, Anna Daedalus, Kerry Davis, John Mueller, Annie Eskelin, Missy StRain, Robin Hominiuk, Dustin Nord, Rick Crawford, and John Mueller, Quảng created a special collaborative sculptural installation marking the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. Reflecting on his personal history, Quảng shares:
“I was born in Vietnam 65 years ago, in the midst of U.S. involvement in the war, and immigrated to the U.S. at the end of April 1975. I always felt the war, the devastation, and the desperation growing up—it never left me. It took me a long time to come to terms with the tragedy that was inflicted upon us. With this show, I want to honor my family, my country, and the people who were involved. It is such an honor to collaborate with the incredible artists in this exhibition.”

Quảng will give a special gallery talk on Tuesday, April 29, at 7:00 p.m.
Additionally, CCC Art Faculty member Kristin Shauck will present a gallery talk on Tuesday, April 22, at 7:00 p.m., sharing insights from her recent experience at the L’Expressoir Residency in Marnay-sur-Seine, France.
