
2025 Commencement Ceremony

Graduation is the official awarding of two-year degrees and one-year certificates. This means that you have completed all the necessary credit requirements.
Commencement is the ceremony celebrating the completion of these educational programs.
“Walking” during commencement does not always mean a student has officially graduated. However, students can participate in the ceremony preceding their official completion of credit requirements.

To order your cap and gown, please fill out the form and email it to cccbookstore@clatsopcc.edu. You can pay by phone (503) 338-2447 or at the Bookstore from 9-4pm.
Cap and gown orders are due by Wednesday, May 8th. Please fill out this form and return it to the Bookstore by the deadline.
If you ordered a cap and gown, you may pick up your order at the College Bookstore located in Columbia Hall. The bookstore will announce when regalia is available for pickup. The bookstore is open weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- There is limited parking please encourage ride sharing.
- Designated disabilities parking is on Lexington alongside Columbia Hall or in the back parking lot behind Columbia Hall.
- Seating will be on bleachers, feel free to bring a cushion.
- No large backpacks/book bags allowed in the gym. Diaper bags are OK.
- The Patriot Hall gymnasium prohibits confetti, balloons, silly string, glitter, and firearms. DO NOT bring any of these items.
- Food and drink are banned in the gymnasium, you can bring bottled water.
All accommodation requests for graduation should be directed to Faith Forster, CCC Student Access Services Coordinator. Students, family members and community members are to contact Faith to request coordination of accommodation needs such as: parking close to the venue, accessible seating, use of assistive listening devices (sound amplification), captioning, American Sign Language interpretation, or other modifications that may be needed to ensure equitable access to the event.
