Community members and visitors are welcome to enjoy the CCC Library! Public computers and wireless access are available, as well as current newspapers, magazines, and a growing collection of movies, music, and popular fiction. Enjoy a good book or DVD, catch up on the local news, or just relax and enjoy the view! Astoria Public Library members can check out materials with a photo ID and current Astoria Public Library card.
Library hours vary slightly during each academic term. For current hours call the Circulation desk at 503-338-2462 or view our Location and Hours page.
The Library provides three computers for public access. You must check in at the Circulation desk before use. No ID is required. These computers are provided to the public with the expectation that users have a basic understanding of both computer software and the internet. The public access computers are stationed in the Library Lounge, a community space where conversation and interaction are encouraged. Please read a more thorough description of our Public Computer Guidelines (.doc 40KB).
The entire CCC campus, including the library, is now equipped to provide free wireless access to both students and guests. If you have problems accessing wireless service please ask the library staff for assistance.
Anyone may use library materials on-site at no charge. However, if you are not currently a student and wish to check out books, CDs, DVDs or other materials from the CCC Library, you will need to become a Patron Member. There are two ways to do this:
NOTE: Library Patron or Passport memberships do not include Patriot Hall gym privileges, and vice-versa.
The Library Lounge is a community space where conversation and interaction are encouraged. We invite you to make yourself at home here… share time, share space, share ideas… share the LIBRARY!
