Clatsop Community College announces The Vagina Monologues March 6th and 7th at 7:00 pm on the 3rd floor communal space in Towler Hall at Clatsop Community College. Admission is $10.00 per person at the door. The Vagina Monologues is an Obie Award-winning whirlwind performance. The Vagina Monologues introduces a wildly divergent gathering of empowered voices in the play. Join us for an evening of laughter, tears, and pushing the envelope as Clatsop Community College students and friends celebrate Women’s History Month with two performances. All proceeds benefit The Harbor: Where violence ends and hope begins! The Harbor is Clatsop County’s only advocacy center for survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault and stalking.
This year marks the play’s 6th season at Clatsop Community College and is the first play produced by the college’s newly formed GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) Club along with student allies, faculty, staff, and the community abroad. The performance is directed by Jabrielle Jones, GSA club president, Safe Zone Project vanguard and Clatsop Community College student.
